I have also had enriching experiences as a Mentor and am currently the Year Level Coordinator for Year 7, which is a role I very much enjoy. I have been teaching and learning at Collegiate for almost 10 years now and, quite honestly, that time seems to have flown by! I have been fortunate to have taught in the Expressive Arts faculty with the Prep students all the way through to Year 10 and have had many years getting to know our wonderful students. My passions include travel, fitness, outdoors or beach activities, photography, adventures and anything creative. The staff at Collegiate are extremely kind and welcoming, and always happy to help and make you feel part of the team. I love coming to work and find teaching the girls to be so rewarding. This is an area of my career that I was looking to fulfill and experience. After 15 years of teaching boys, I am thoroughly enjoying the change to teaching all girls. This is my first year at Collegiate and I am teaching Year 2. When I returned home, I started my job at Hutchins on Prep, I taught there for 9 years. I had the opportunity to do relief teaching at a number of inner-city schools and was very fortunate to secure a teaching position at Kings College, at an all-boys school for 6 years. I began my career teaching at Spreyton Primary School in a variety of teaching roles from K-6. I have taught from K-6, and also primary drama. ![]() I am an Early Childhood Qualified Teacher originally from Hawley Beach, Tasmania.
